I cannot perceive that our elected leaders would rather have a staring contest than resolve our national debt crisis. I am disappointed that our legislators seem to possess more concern for their own jobs than the jobs of their constituencies. The pending elections have terminated any form of compromise, since both political parties possess more concern about their performance next year than if the nation is able to pay its expenses. And with the imbalanced Republicans slandering President Obama on all of his actions. Worst of all, they are unconcerned about those who will be affected the most, such as the ill, the elderly as well as the indigent. Basically, we should not expect a compromise from our leaders until the nation has collapsed.
